Thaddaeus Ropac

In collaboration with the teams at Thaddaeus Ropac gallery, LES BATISSEURS agency conducted a strategic review of the gallery layout, focusing on the organization of the logistics warehouse and areas dedicated to art storage within the Pantin site.

The objective of this mission was to improve operational fluidity, enhance space clarity, and adapt the organization to the specific requirements for managing, conserving, and circulating artworks.

As part of this art gallery layout project, LES BATISSEURS conducted an in-depth analysis of logistics flows, storage capacities, and technical constraints related to handling collections. This study identified several optimization levers to facilitate daily operations for receiving, preparing, and shipping artworks, while ensuring appropriate conservation conditions.

The mission also focused on organizing art storage, with a comprehensive review of space structuring, optimizing available volumes, and improving access. By redesigning the building’s layout and logistics pathways, LES BATISSEURS defined a development strategy to further secure collections while supporting the gallery’s expanding activities.

This approach illustrates LES BATISSEURS’ expertise in designing functional environments that meet the specific requirements of the artistic and cultural sector.
